In the Age of Globalization

About Culture of Enterprise

How can free market reforms alleviate global poverty? Does globalization destroy human dignity? What are the cultural underpinnings and institutional prerequisites for a "humane" market economy? These are just a few of the compelling questions that ISI is looking for young scholars and students to address in its exciting new Culture of Enterprise Initiative. Funded by a generous grant from the John Templeton Foundation, this new program will sponsor yearly book, article, and student essay awards that seek to identify and publicize the very best that has been written on economics and culture in order to advance the cause of ordered liberty around the world. Also included in the initiative is a path breaking book series and a new nationwide lecture series.
